The Room 17 + MAC Show… where Math + Arts + Technology = Happiness!
K – 12th graders are invited to join us in the studio to create a piece of art to submit to the ROOM 17 + MAC Show on 5/10.
Room 17 teachers will be on hand to help you see the math in your piece!
All submissions will be displayed at the Milford Library after the show on 5/10.

The Room 17 + MAC Show… where Math + Arts + Technology = Happiness!
Room 17 and the Milford Arts Council have designed an event to showcase that Math is EVERYWHERE! Children (“artists”) in grades K-12 can use various media (Music, Digital Media, Dance, Photography, Painting Sculpting..etc.) to create a piece and share how they incorporated math.
Artists will be invited to The Firehouse Art Gallery on May 10th from 11:00-1:00 to share their creation with our community and their family members. Prizes will be awarded to ALL participants. All artists will have their work displayed in the Milford Library for a period of time after the event.

Take a break from the screen…Exercise your body and brain by joining in the 6th Annual Room 17 Milford Math Walk Challenge taking place at over 30 locations across Milford during Memorial Day Weekend!
A Math Walk is a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy the warm weather, and engage in fun mathematics for ALL ages!
Each location displays a different type of interactive problem solving opportunity, written in chalk. Participants can take a selfie and/or share a solution @Room17Math on FB or Instagram. How many can YOU find and solve?
